The Film Club has been running since 2003, except for a short break last year when Victoria, Mal and Wayne decided to hand over the reins. It restarted on 2nd November 2024 screening Wicked Little Letters to a packed audience of over fifty members.
We are very lucky to have a Cinema on our doorstep and we welcome you to join us for the experience. Whilst many of us have NETFLIX or Amazon Prime, they are no substitute for the experience of watching the big screen as part of an audience. There is a very special feeling as the lights go down, the hall starts to hush and the credits roll, gasps or laughter that go around the audience only enhance the experience.
Our motivation for running the film club is not just about a love of cinema but also comes from a deep appreciation for our community and where we live. The village hall is a fantastic resource for everyone and it deserves to be used to its full potential, we welcome you in supporting us by coming along to one of our screenings.
